The off-road endurance event of Franchimont is internationally known and renowned. Each year, La Chinelle has the honor of welcoming many professionals from the motocross world. Among them are Joël Smets, Jeff Goblet, Benoit Pauwels, Thierry Klutz, Caps, Crosset, Vukcevic, and many others.

The race

The starting signal is given at midnight, and the riders race for 12 hours. This race requires not only speed but also strategy.

The course

For many loyal fans, La Chinelle is considered THE race of the year. Around one hundred teams—representing some 300 riders—compete for victory on the 7-kilometer circuit laid out in the Franchimont area.
